Services
Current students at Ritz Training College have the opportunity to participate in Work-Integrated Learning (WIL), which allows them to apply their academic learning to real-world practice. Through WIL, Ritz Training’s industry and community partners benefit from energetic, well-trained workers who are ready to contribute.
Ritz’s current students and alumni can access opportunities posted by employers on Job Connect, our Work-Integrated Learning and career hub.
Positions include WIL, full-time, part-time, and term! Information about upcoming events and employment workshops can also be found on Job Connect.
Students can also talk to our career advisor for their career development plan by appointment.
Please send an appointment Email to: admin@ritzcollege.ca
Aside from academic learning, students will also get the supports regarding the life settlement which may include financial assistance, health caring, housing, applying for a visa and more.
Financial Matters
Pursuing study is also a financial investment. Tuition and fees are carefully calculated by the programs at Ritz. While you are responsible for managing your money, we encourage you to research and contact us to apply for financial support programs, such as scholarships and awards, emergency student loans, and financial aid, especially if you are experiencing financial difficulties.
Health Care Insurance
Health insurance allows you to access medical services at clinics and hospitals in Canada with most expenses covered by the insurance so that you can focus on your studies.
It is mandatory for international students studying at Ritz for at least six months to pay a health fee to contribute to and benefit from B.C.’s health-care coverage (provincial coverage). Please update with your health-care insurance information after you are enrolled.
Housing Information
Students can learn more about BC tenancy agreements, rental listings, security deposits, property damage, subletting, lease renewals, fire safety, and more. There are two accommodation programs you can choose from: Off-Campus Housing and Homestay Housing. Ritz Training College does not own these programs but assists students in finding appropriate accommodations.
